My husband and I moved to Las Vegas almost 4 years ago from Colorado where we were both raised. We love living in Las Vegas but one thing Colorado has that Vegas does not is BREWERIES! Ok, ok, Las Vegas does have a few but nothing like Colorado! plus, breweries in Colorado are super kid friendly which is the best! When we go back to visit we always hit a few breweries and this last trip was no exception! We went to one of our favorites called Loveland Aleworks in my husband’s home town of Loveland, Co with some of our best friends for a fun night out and we had the best time! While we were heading to our seats we saw a bartender bringing out some type of slush to a table. We asked what they were and she told us they were BEER SLUSHIES! Ya’ll, we were giddy with excitement and obviously ordered a round for the table. They exceeded all expectations and were all we could talk talk about until we got home. My husband was googling recipes while we were at the airport waiting for our flight and the next day we went to store to get all the supplies to experiment and find what the best at home recipe for these were. After some tweaking we finally found the perfect concoction that i can not wait to share with you all! The best part of this is you can totally customize it with different flavors or fruits that are in season. We went with mango after finding a delicious mango wheat ale at our local liquor store. We also tried a rainbow sherbet flavor which was good but the mango really stole my heart!

I have teamed up with a few friends to share some delicious drink recipes so be sure to check theirs out as well at the end of this post!
